From Western or Northern Bergen County
- Take Route 208 South or Route 17 South to Route 4 East. Pay close attention to the
overhead signs on Route 17 indicating the proper lane for Route 4 East (Fort Lee)
- Take Route 4 East to the Hackensack Avenue/River Edge exit. (You must pass the "River Edge LOCAL TRAFFIC"
exit and go over a bridge before you get to Hackensack Avenue.) Go under the Hackensack Avenue overpass and loop around back
over Route 4, following signs to Riverside Square Mall
- Get into the far left lane
- At the second traffic light, turn left between buildings 2 and 3 of Continental Plaza
- Do not drive up to the rooftop parking
To Park:
- Approach the garage at the sign "Reserved & Handicap Parking"
- Push the buzzer and announce to Security that you are here for the surgery center
- Follow the signs for Metropolitan Surgery Center
- Go partially up the ramp and bear right to park
- There are spaces on the second level reserved for Metropolitan Surgery Center.
If none is available, you may park in any available spot within the garage. Handicap parking is also on the second level.
Go down one level (by the stairs or elevator to "LL")
- Cross from the garage to the building in the enclosed access on the second level
- Walk towards the back of the building (towards the garage, not the stairs)
- Please enter the Administrative Offices
To drop off or pick up a patient:
- Pull around the back of the building and utilize either the covered ramp or stairs
- Administrative Offices will be on your right as you enter the building from the back
- Pull up to the next gate and follow the parking directions above
From Western New Jersey (Morris and Passaic Counties)
- Take Route 80 East to the Garden State Parkway North
- Get off at Exit 161 (Route 4 East)
- Follow the directions from Point 2 above
From Upstate New York (Orange & Duchess Counties)
- Take Route 87 South (NY State Thruway) to Exit 15. Bear left onto Route 17 South
- Follow the directions from Point 1 above
From New York City via the George Washington Bridge
- Take the George Washington Bridge to Route 4 West
- Get off at Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit (Riverside Square Mall will be on your right)
- Follow the directions from Point 3 above
From Westchester County / Fairfield County
- Take the George Washington Bridge to Route 4 West
- Get off at Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit (Riverside Square Mall will be on your right)
- Follow the directions from Point 3 above
From New York City via the George Washington Bridge
- Take the Tappan Zee Bridge Westbound towards Rockland County
- Take 287 W/S to the Palisades Parkway at Exit 13S
- Palisades Parkway becomes US-9W
- Follow signs to Route 4 West
- Get off at Hackensack Avenue/River Edge Exit (Riverside Square Mall will be on your right)
- Follow the directions from Point 3 above
